Hello Fairies!

Les ateliers d’écriture sont un lointain souvenir, mais ces derniers jours, je me suis mise à griffonner quelques lignes au boulot, et hier cela a fini par donner quelque chose qui ressemble à un poème et que j’ai eu envie de partager avec vous après tout ce temps sans alimenter cette section.

I answer that I’m fine
Only draw within the lines
Everything at its place
Just following the general pace

I put on a mask
Do whatever they ask
I’m wrong when they’re right
Won’t even put up a fight

How much longer can I hold
Before I come unfold?
When will you finally see
Behind this permanent parody?

I always wait for my turn
Never speak in return
Only show a brave face
To stay in their good grace

I am not too loud
Can’t show I’m proud
I quieted my voice
They took away my choice

Why can’t you let me
Put an end to this comedy?
